Interim Chief Financial Officer

Camino Search is supporting a fast‐growing B2B Software and services asset. As they navigate a period of strategic growth and transformation, the business is looking to onboard an experienced Interim CFO to provide financial leadership, drive operational efficiency, and lead M&A activities.

This role would suit an individual looking to further their experience as a number one in finance, working directly with a lower mid‐market fund. The role is a very hands‐on position where the correct individual will lead FDD & M&A processes on target acquisitions, run the finance function, build out board reporting, and be a leader in finance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board.

Oversee accounting, tax, compliance, and audit processes.

Support fundraising efforts (equity or debt), including investor relations and due diligence.

Implement and optimize financial systems and processes to support scalability.

Partner with department heads to align financial planning with business objectives.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a B2B SaaS or tech company.

Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.).

Private Equity and boardroom experience.

Can lead end‐to‐end M&A processes in conjunction with the private equity fund.

Hands‐on approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
