Camino Search are working with a Private Equity owned Services firm based in London. The Interim CFO will take control of the finance function during a period of change. They will stabilise reporting, manage cashflow, support the leadership team, and provide clear financial insight to both the CEO and the private equity investors.
This role will be well suited to someone used to managing change, and driving continuous improvement to internal controls, governance and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day finance function.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting.
- Manage cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Produce clear financial updates for the CEO and PE investors.
- Improve financial controls and processes.
- Support the business through change (e.g., growth, restructuring, or integration).
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and advisors.
- Guide and support the existing finance team.
Required Experience
- Previous experience as a CFO or senior finance lead.
- Experience in a private equity–backed business (ideally).
- Strong financial reporting and cash management skills.
- Background in services, people-based, or contract-led businesses (preferred).
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
