Job Description
Camino Search are seeking an experienced financial leader to take ownership of all consolidated financial reporting for a PE owned Technology and Software firm, HQ'd in London.
This role will support the CFO with financial integration, and building robust centralised controls and reporting for the finance organisation. The ideal candidate will be strong technically, and have a background working in group level, multi-entity environments.
THIS WILL REQUIRE SOME INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL TO EUROPEAN OFFICES
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting function, overseeing month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
- Manage the multi-geography consolidated reporting at group level
- Support CFO with continuous improvements to systems and processes
- Own the preparation and review of financial statements and annual statutory accounts
- Strengthen internal accounting policies, processes, and controls.
- Lead on Audit processes
- Support transformation projects, system improvements, or change initiatives related to finance and reporting.
About You (Experience & Skills)
- Qualified accountant – ideally background in Audit or Practice
- Significant experience in senior accounting roles, ideally including interim or Head‑of‑Accounting capacity.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or UK GAAP).
- Proven track record of managing month‑end close, reporting cycles, and financial governance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Able to work at pace in a changing environment and provide hands‑on leadership.
