Camino Search are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing, independent accountancy practice in East Sussex that works closely with owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs across a broad range of sectors. The firm has grown quickly by being commercial, relationship-led and proactive, rather than purely compliance-driven. As client demand continues to increase, the business is now looking to strengthen its senior client-facing team with the appointment of an experienced Client Manager.
As Client Manager, you’ll act as the trusted day-to-day contact for a portfolio of SME clients, sitting between the delivery team and the director and playing a key role in the firm’s next phase of growth.
Key responsibilities include:- Owning and managing a portfolio of SME clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT, CIS and personal tax
- Producing and explaining monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing bookkeeping quality and working with cloud-based systems (Xero-led)
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Accountancy practice background
- Confident across accounts, tax and management accounts
- Comfortable working with Xero, QuickBooks and IRIS
- Organised, reliable and confident communicating directly with clients
- Happy with 5 days in office
- Long-term commission linked to clients personally introduced, with a clear progression plan
- Supportive, collaborative culture with strong systems and workflows
- Parking, laptop and mobile provided immediately
- Longer-term potential for a 4-day working week for sustained high performers
