The Role:
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn the ins and outs of recruitment, with the opportunity to work alongside the team's top performer. You will be placing professionals from the operational roles listed above.
- Source Candidates: Engage with both active and passive candidates to update details, discuss career goals, assess availability, and conduct screenings while maintaining up-to-date database information.
- Provide Career Consultancy: Offer expert guidance to candidates, helping them navigate the interview process and secure the right job.
- Coordinate Interviews: Arrange and confirm interviews between candidates and clients, ensuring seamless communication.
- Generate Leads & Build Relationships: Proactively develop new client relationships and generate leads through market research and regular candidate engagement.
- Qualify Candidates: Take references to help qualify candidates and open doors to new client opportunities.
- Manage Relationships: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with candidates and clients, ensuring high standards of service are always met.
What We’re Looking For:
- Confidence & Resilience: Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a sales-driven environment.
- Graduate (Desirable): A 2:1 graduate is ideal but not essential.
- Sales/Commercial Experience (Desirable): Any previous outbound sales or commercial experience is a plus.
- Passion for Recruitment: You must understand the demands of the recruitment industry and be ready to embrace a sales-based role. We’ll invest heavily in your development, but success depends on your motivation and dedication.
