This role presents an excellent opportunity to step into a globally focused position, offering exposure across multiple entities and jurisdictions. It provides a high level of ownership across financial control, audit, and statutory reporting, alongside direct interaction with senior stakeholders, including FP&A leadership. The position also offers the chance to drive process improvements and strengthen controls within a growing business, all within a collaborative and professional environment that places a strong emphasis on quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency adjustments
- Manage VAT/GST reporting and support broader tax compliance activities
- Act as the key point of contact for external audits, coordinating deliverables and ensuring smooth execution
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Drive improvements across financial processes, controls, and systems
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), ideally audit-trained
- Strong technical accounting background (UK GAAP / IFRS)
- Experience operating in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Proven ability to manage audits and maintain robust financial controls
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident partnering with stakeholders across the business
