Due to growth within the interim division, we are seeking a Compliance & Operations Lead to support a high-performing team. This is a broad, hands-on role combining candidate onboarding, compliance, and operational support, alongside exposure to wider business projects.
The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives such as audits, systems, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Managing onboarding processes for interim candidates
- Supporting consultants with compliance checks and documentation
- Liaising with umbrella companies and contractors
- Acting as a key point of contact for interim workforce queries
- Supporting a small, self-sufficient consultant team
- Supporting IR35 compliance processes
- Assisting with GDPR and data protection activities
- Supporting ISO audits and internal compliance frameworks
- Supplier management and due diligence
- Diary and administrative support for senior leadership
- Assisting with coordination of government bid submissions (inbox management and administration, not bid writing)
- Previous experience within interim recruitment operations or compliance (ideally 3+ years)
- Strong understanding of contractor compliance (IR35, umbrella models, etc.)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
