A growing UK-based group is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team within a multi-brand organisation. The role will take ownership of the UK entity of a single brand, reporting into the Finance Manager and working closely with senior stakeholders.

This position would suit either a strong part-qualified accountant ready to step up or an experienced Management Accountant looking for broader exposure and responsibility in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

The Role

  • Ownership of management accounting for a standalone UK entity
  • Month-end close, balance sheet control and variance analysis
  • Active involvement in audits, working closely with senior finance leadership
  • Supporting statutory reporting and financial controls
  • Exposure to group activity following recent acquisitions

The Ideal Background

  • Strong core accounting fundamentals are essential
  • Part-qualified ACCA (exams-based rather than degree-only) or AAT Level 4 considered
  • Recruitment sector experience preferred
  • Contractor payroll experience is a nice-to-have (e.g. recruitment or project-led environments)
