About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established recruitment business with international offices, is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to support a dynamic organisation during an exciting period of global growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate management accounts, supporting commercial decision-making, and partnering with teams across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
  • Support with budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Consolidation of financial results across UK and international offices
  • Financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and accurate records
  • Assisting with year-end processes and external audits
  • Working closely with recruitment and operational teams to improve financial understanding across the business

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Previous experience within the recruitment industry
  • Part-qualified or qualified by experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong management accounting and month-end experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial modelling/reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and able to work to deadlines
