About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established recruitment business with international offices, is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to support a dynamic organisation during an exciting period of global growth.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate management accounts, supporting commercial decision-making, and partnering with teams across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Support with budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Consolidation of financial results across UK and international offices
- Financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
- Maintaining strong financial controls and accurate records
- Assisting with year-end processes and external audits
- Working closely with recruitment and operational teams to improve financial understanding across the business
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Previous experience within the recruitment industry
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong management accounting and month-end experience
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial modelling/reporting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail-focused and able to work to deadlines
