An established, fastâgrowing organization is seeking a proactive and detailâdriven Payroll Manager to take ownership of a multiâcountry payroll function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a handsâon role, enjoys improving processes, and is keen to grow with the business.
You will manage payroll operations across the UK, USA, Singapore, and Japan, working with internal teams and international payroll bureaus to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery.
Responsibilities:- Manage monthly payroll cycles across multiple companies (biâweekly for the US).
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle all starter/leaver processing.
- Calculate salary changes, commissions, bonuses, and proârated pay.
- Prepare payroll reports and investigate any discrepancies prior to approval.
- Administer the company pension scheme, including uploads and updates.
- Process staff expenses and ensure correct VAT documentation.
- Process HMRC payroll submissions and payments.
- Strong UK payroll experience; exposure to international payroll is an advantage.
- Highly organised, accurate, and confident working independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and competency with data entry.
- Strong communication skills and a supportive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including lookups and SUMIFs).
- Experience calculating commissions and bonuses.
- Experience with P11D submissions.
- Experience with Sage Payroll, Sage 50 Accounts, or Sage Intacct.
- Payroll qualifications (or currently studying).
- Experience within the recruitment industry.
