Overview:
An established and growing recruitment firm is looking for a commercially driven Sales Trainer to join their L&D function full-time. With new leadership in place and exciting change underway, this role will play a key part in shaping performance across both permanent and contract desks.
You\’ll work closely with a newly appointed Director to re-energize the sales culture, upskill teams, and drive performance through impactful training and coaching. This is a hands-on role — embedded on the sales floor, delivering sessions, and making an immediate difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured and ad-hoc training across permanent and contract recruitment teams
- Provide floor support, 1:1 call coaching, and real-time feedback
- Identify performance gaps and create tailored learning solutions
- Focus on core recruitment skills: closing, job flow, and proactivity
- Drive accountability using performance data and analytics
- Support new starters and upskill junior and mid-level consultants
- Work in close partnership with the Director and senior leadership on business priorities
- Foster a high-energy, high-performance sales culture
About You:
- Previous experience in recruitment – ideally as a successful biller
- Proven track record in sales training, ideally within recruitment or sales-led environments
- Natural motivator with high energy and strong floor presence
- Able to command respect and build credibility quickly
- Commercially astute and data-informed in approach
- Positive, energetic and solutions-focused
- Strong understanding of both 180 and 360 recruitment models
- Not HR-focused – this is a pure sales performance L&D role
