Camino Partners are excited to be partnering with a profitable, international technology recruitment business is looking to appoint an individual to support the continued growth of its UK and US operations.
Reporting to the Operations Director and working closely with the existing Finance Manager, this is a broad and commercially focused role that combines financial reporting, management accounts and FP&A with operational finance and compliance.
As the business continues to expand internationally, particularly across the US, this position will play a key role in strengthening the finance function and creating greater capacity within the wider operations team.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process across the UK and international entities.
- Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.
- Produce board packs with insightful financial commentary, variance analysis and KPI reporting.
- Lead month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls across the Group.
- Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Work alongside external accountants across both the UK and US.
- FP&A & Commercial Finance
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Analyse revenue, contractor profitability, gross margin, overheads and cash forecastinh
- Deliver commercial insight and performance reporting to the senior leadership team
- Partner with operational stakeholders to improve business performance through financial analysis
- Drive continuous improvements across reporting, automation and finance processes
- Operational Finance
- Oversee contractor payroll across the UK, EMEA and US.
- Support weekly payroll processing, timesheet approvals and payments to contractors, umbrella companies and EOR provisions.
- Manage invoicing, purchase orders, bank reconciliations and cash management.
- Maintain accurate financial records within Xero.
- Credit Control
- Lead the Group's credit control function
- Monitor debtor performance and aged debt
- Manage customer relationships to improve cash collection
- Complete financial assessments and credit checks for new clients
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate payment records
- Contractor Compliance & Operations
- Act as the central point of contact for contractors, workforce partners and umbrella products.
- Oversee contractor onboarding and compliance across the UK, EMEA and US.
- Manage Right to Work checks, contractor documentation, IR35 assessments and contract administration.
- Support internal audits and continuously improve compliance processes.
About You
- Previous experience producing management accounts within a multi-entity background.
- Strong understanding of month-end, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and FP&A actions.
- Exposure to recruitment, professional services or contractor-led businesses would be highly advantageous.
- Experience managing contractor payroll, credit control and operational
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting systems
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a growing entrepreneurial business
- Proactive, hands-on and happy to operate across both finance and operational responsibilities.
