We are supporting a high-growth recruitment business in the search for a Financial / Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role offers broad exposure across transactional finance and is well-suited to someone looking to develop their skillset within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. The position will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial processing and contributing to the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing sales invoices and supporting the billing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Managing the accounts payable function, including supplier invoice processing and payment runs
  • Assisting with accounts receivable, including credit control and chasing outstanding debt
  • Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records
  • Supporting monthly management accounts preparation, including accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with payroll data input, particularly around contractor payments and commissions
  • Maintaining and reconciling ledgers and resolving any discrepancies
  • Supporting finance process improvements and system efficiencies
  • Assisting with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Finance or Accounting Degree
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Confident working with finance systems (e.g. Xero, Sage, or similar) and Excel
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop within a growing business
  • Someone who is eager and keen to start their finance career in an exciting and enthusiastic executive search firm with global influence.
