My client was founded in 2013 by lifelong friends who built the business from the ground up with strong roots in the oil and offshore industries. The group now operates two brands across Offshore and Technology and is experiencing rapid growth and momentum, recently receiving multiple rankings on reputable lists. The leadership team is highly visible and respected, with a strong presence on the sales floor and a collaborative, high-performance culture.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager to take ownership of the legal and contractual function across the Offshore division. This is a standalone, hands-on role suited to someone confident, autonomous, and proactive, able to anticipate issues, manage risk, and escalate to third-party advisors where required. You will work closely with Compliance, Finance, Payroll, and the Sales teams, supporting a contractor base of approximately 600 active contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership and management of all contracts, including:
- Candidate and contractor contracts
- Client terms and conditions
- Supplier agreements
- Supplier onboarding, ensuring legal and contractual compliance
- Oversight of insurances and associated documentation
- Managing and maintaining accreditations
- Supporting and responding to client audits
- Responsibility for A1 Forms (EU legal focus rather than compliance)
- Providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders across the business
- Liaising with and escalating matters to external legal advisers and third parties when required
About You
- Proven experience in a Legal Manager or senior legal/contracts role
- Strong contracts background is essential
- International experience is highly desirable
- Confident working autonomously and making informed decisions
- Proactive, forward-thinking, and comfortable in a fast-growth environment
- Able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
