Camino Partners are excited to be partnering with a mission-led, early-stage investment and venture-building organisation operating at the intersection of technology, science, and innovation. The business works closely with founders, engineers, and researchers to help turn breakthrough ideas into scalable companies tackling some of the world’s most complex challenges.

The business is looking to hire a highly organised, hands-on Events & Office Manager to act as the operational backbone of its UK platform. This is a newly created role, designed to bring structure, consistency, and high-quality execution across events, programmes, and day-to-day office operations. The role will require an office presence every day with flexibility to support longer days during event delivery and occasional outdoor or offsite activities, including approximately one weekend per month.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Own the day-to-day operations of a multi-storey London office and event space, ensuring it is always welcoming, organised, and fully operational.
  • Take full ownership of events, acting as the central point of coordination for planning, logistics, delivery, and on-the-day execution across all internal and external events.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of in-house and external events, workshops, and community sessions.
  • Act as the operational lead for structured programmes, coordinating schedules, logistics, venues, travel, and suppliers.
  • Manage third-party vendors and service providers, including contracts, budgets, renewals, and ongoing improvements.
  • Support internal teams with coordination, scheduling, reimbursements, and operational administration.
  • Track key operational data and maintain simple dashboards, processes, and documentation to improve efficiency over time.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in operations, office management, events, or programme coordination within a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a natural enjoyment of logistics, planning, and execution.
  • Comfortable managing budgets, invoices, and expense processes.
  • Proactive, self-starting, and happy to take ownership in a role where no two days look the same.

We cannot give feedback to all applicants as much as we wish we could. If you haven't heard from us within 72 hours, you are not suitable for this particular role, but we may reach out in due course for any other suitable positions.
