Payroll Administrator | Billericay | Hybrid
Camino Partners are working with a rapidly growing specialist recruitment business operating across the renewables, offshore and marine sectors. The business provides specialist workforce solutions, supplying skilled professionals to clients working across major energy and marine projects internationally.
Following significant growth, they are looking to add a Payroll Administrator to their finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with high-volume payroll and UK PAYE experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of contractor timesheets and payroll processes.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing timesheets and supporting the wider payroll process for a large contracted workforce, ensuring everything is accurate, compliant and processed within tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and processing contractor timesheets and expenses
- Validating hours worked, overtime, travel days and other relevant requirements
- Supporting the end-to-end payroll process
- Ensuring payroll deadlines are consistently met
- Liaising with contractors and clients to resolve queries and discrepancies
- Monitoring the payroll inbox and managing queries efficiently
- Working closely with the wider payroll and finance teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes
What they're looking for:
- Previous experience in payroll, finance administration or timesheet management
- Strong UK PAYE knowledge and experience
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills when dealing with contractors, clients and internal teams
- Experience using timesheet software and Microsoft Office
- Recruitment industry experience is advantageous, but not essential
