Proactively identify and attract sales opportunities to the businesses through the implementation and execution of an on‑brand and relevant events schedule, to include both promotional and sales‑driven events.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively target businesses and other customers local to our venues, without duplication of venue‑specific efforts.
  • Keep up to date with trends in the sector to ensure relevant opportunities are being identified and exploited, for both Camino and Big Chill.
  • Use this knowledge to identify opportunities to attract additional sales and new customers to the businesses.
  • Create and manage an events calendar for all venues to exploit the identified opportunities, ensuring relevant, on‑brand, and on‑trend events are regularly taking place.
  • Liaise with Content Manager to ensure effective social/print promotional activity is in place to support the events calendar.
  • Take full ownership of events organised from sign‑off to post‑event reporting/feedback.
  • Manage the cost of promotional events within the wider context of the overall marketing budget.
  • Manage terrace and other relaunch events for all venues, working with venue managers, external PR and others as required.
  • Assist in maintaining good relationships with sponsors in order to maximise support for relevant events, including monetary, free stock and additional promotional ‘noise’ (e.g. through sponsor social feeds).
  • Regularly report, review and analyse events ensuring ROI analysis is available for all activity.
  • Assist operations teams in creating relevant ‘party packages’ for both seasonal and year‑round larger group bookings.
  • Maintain positive relationships with venue managers and hosts to ensure a seamless customer experience.
