About the Role
As our Activities Coordinator, you will plan and deliver a varied programme of therapeutic, social and recreational activities tailored to the individual interests and needs of our residents. From organising arts and crafts, cooking sessions and fitness activities to arranging community outings and special events, you'll play a vital role in enhancing quality of life and supporting recovery.
Working closely with the wider care team, you'll encourage residents to participate, build confidence and develop life skills while ensuring activities are safe, engaging and person-centred.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of activities and outings.
Create personalised activity plans based on residents' interests, goals and care plans.
Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote independence and wellbeing.
Organise community trips, events and social opportunities.
Complete activity records and maintain accurate documentation.
Carry out risk assessments for activities and outings.
Build links with local community groups and organisations.
Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents' individual needs.
Gather resident feedback to continually improve the activities programme.
Work within agreed budgets and company policies.
