CAMHS Professionals is recruiting an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to deliver face-to-face ADOS and/or ADI-R assessments across both Adult and CAMHS pathways in North Essex. This is a flexible, ad hoc opportunity — ideal for a qualified Psychologist looking for varied diagnostic work that fits around existing commitments. You'll be contributing to high-quality autism assessment pathways, working with both children and young people and adult patients in a face-to-face setting.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be conducting ADOS and/or ADI-R assessments as part of established autism diagnostic pathways across North Essex, delivering thorough and compassionate assessments and contributing to clear, evidence-based diagnostic formulations for both CAMHS and adult patients.

Requirements

  • Qualified Speech & Language Therapist - essential
  • HCPC registered — essential
  • Qualified in ADOS and/or ADI-R — essential
  • Experience conducting ADOS and/or ADI-R assessments across Adult and/or CAMHS pathways — essential
  • Comfortable working across both adult and CAMHS patient groups
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to travel to and work face-to-face across North Essex

Location

North Essex. This is a face-to-face role — candidates must be able to attend in person and be based within a commutable distance of North Essex.
