We’re looking for a friendly, organised Compliance Officer to join our CAMHS staffing agency team in Hackney Wick. This is a key admin and compliance role within a healthcare recruitment environment, supporting the onboarding and compliance checking of clinicians and support staff working across mental health services. You’ll help ensure all candidate files meet safeguarding, regulatory, and NHS-style compliance standards before placement into services. You’ll be at the heart of making sure our workforce is safe, verified, and fully compliant so they can deliver high-quality care to children and young people. If you’re someone who enjoys structure, detail, and making sure everything is correct and audit-ready, this role will suit you well.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing and maintaining candidate compliance files for CAMHS healthcare professionals
- Completing and tracking DBS checks, right-to-work checks, references, and employment history verification
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding requirements and healthcare recruitment standards
- Checking professional registrations (e.g. NMC, HCPC, GMC where applicable)
- Supporting onboarding for clinicians into NHS and private CAMHS services
- Keeping records audit-ready and supporting internal/external compliance audits
- Working closely with recruitment consultants to ensure candidates are cleared for placement
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
- Experience in admin, compliance, or healthcare recruitment (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of (or interest in) regulated healthcare environments and safeguarding
- Confident handling documentation and compliance systems
- Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet compliance deadlines
