Are you a Band 5 or Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with CAMHS experience looking for flexible, high-paying locum work across the West Midlands? We are seeking experienced RMNs with a background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to join our growing team. Whether you\'re looking for ad-hoc shifts, part-time hours, or longer-term block bookings, we have roles to suit your availability across NHS inpatient units, community CAMHS, and crisis teams. 🔍 Key Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to children and young people experiencing mental health crises or ongoing psychological difficulties. * Conduct mental health assessments and develop individual care plans. * Administer medication and monitor mental state in line with clinical protocols. * Work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic, trauma-informed care. * Safeguard vulnerable children and escalate concerns in accordance with local procedures. * Document accurate, up-to-date clinical records. ✅ Requirements * NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – current PIN essential * Minimum 2 year CAMHS experience (inpatient, crisis, or community) * Confident managing young people with acute mental health conditions, including self-harm, eating disorders, psychosis, anxiety, ASD, and ADHD * Up-to-date PMVA/MAPA/Team Teach training (or willingness to complete) * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) * Excellent communication & de-escalation skills * Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and/or block placements
