CAMHS Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming 3-bed residential children's home in Eastbourne.

Start Date: March 2025

About the Role: We're looking for experienced and passionate Residential Care Staff to join our small, child-focused team. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in a supportive, home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential setting
  • Support children and young people with their daily routines, including personal care, mealtimes, and bedtime routines
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with young people to promote their emotional wellbeing
  • Implement individual care plans and contribute to reviews and assessments
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times
  • Manage challenging behaviour using therapeutic and de-escalation techniques
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
  • Support young people's education, hobbies, and social development
  • Ensure the home environment is safe, clean, and welcoming

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Child Care or Health and Social Care (essential)
  • Previous residential care experience (essential)
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people
  • Availability for day and night shifts

What We Offer:

  • Day shifts: £17 per hour (£20 per hour on Sundays)
  • Night shifts: £20 per hour (£28.50 per hour on Sundays)
