We are seeking an experienced Independent Prescriber (NMP or equivalent) to join our Adult ADHD service on a remote basis. This is a 6-month placement with the potential to extend, working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
You will focus on medication reviews, titration, and initiation of ADHD treatment for adults, operating with a high degree of autonomy. While experience in ADHD assessment or diagnosis is not required, you should have strong, demonstrable experience in ADHD prescribing and confidence in managing cases independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct ADHD medication reviews and manage initiation/titration of treatment.
- Work autonomously while collaborating virtually with a clinical team.
- Maintain accurate records using SystmOne (experience preferred).
- Provide safe and evidence-based prescribing and medication management.
- Ensure timely communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Registered Independent Prescriber (NMP) with relevant qualifications.
- Significant experience in ADHD medication management, especially in adults.
- Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting.
- Able to commit to full-time hours (37.5/week) or as close as possible.
- Must be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays as part of the schedule.
