We are currently seeking a Sales Director Foremarket & Specialist Sales UK. Camfil UK has two production sites based in Lancashire and Kent. This role is based in our Haslingden site in Lancashire and will require regular travel in the UK.
The Sales Director for Foremarket & Specialist Sales will hold strategic responsibility for driving Camfil's growth into new and emerging markets, while strengthening their presence and influence within key technical sectors. This role will lead the Foremarket and Specialist sales teams, focusing on strategic market development, long-term growth, and expanding Camfil's customer base in areas where clean air performance is mission critical.
This position is accountable for leading and growing the existing specialist sales team, to identify, develop, and convert new customers and market opportunities, ensuring Camfil is positioned at the forefront of technical innovation and commercial success in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a clear, long-term strategy for growth in specialist sectors.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish new customer bases and market opportunities across the UK.
- Shape and drive commercial entry strategies for new and emerging markets, ensuring alignment with global business priorities.
- Build relationships with consultants, designers, and specifiers to influence project requirements and secure Camfil's inclusion in early design stages.
- Position Camfil as a trusted advisor on technical air quality solutions, sustainability, and performance standards.
- Lead efforts to identify, engage, and secure new business with customers not currently within Camfil's active portfolio.
- Manage and develop the Foremarket and Specialist Sales teams to deliver high performance and strategic alignment.
- Work closely with Product Management, Marketing and Operations to align market insights with product innovation and campaign strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in leading sales teams through growth, transformation and successful new market entry.
- Ability to develop and execute innovative commercial and go-to-market strategies that deliver long-term revenue growth.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, opening, and scaling new customer segments or industries.
- Skilled at building strong, sustainable pipelines and establishing new commercial footholds.
- Highly adept at using market data, customer insights, and internal performance analytics to guide strategic decisions, prioritise opportunities, and optimise focus.
- Experience managing and developing specialist or technical sales teams, driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
- Strong ability to engage consultants, designers, and senior stakeholders to shape early specifications and influence project direction.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, forecasting, pricing, and CRM-driven pipeline management.
- Experience in filtration, clean air solutions, or Air Pollution Control (APC) is a valuable advantage but not a requirement.
