  • Site Service Engineer - UCV/Validation & LEV Engineer
  • Based in the Bristol area

42 hours per week inclusive of night and weekend work.

Who will be responsible for the attending various customer sites to complete maintenance, compliance and performance testing of specialised ventilation systems within varied industries.

  • Primary responsibilities
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance visits (PPM) schedules & remedial works to UCV systems in operating theatres, AHU systems and other clean air devices.
  • Completing breakdown assistance and fault finding on clean air devices.
  • Complete performance measurements and qualification of cleanroom areas and clean air and containment devices to relevant standards and codes of best practice.
  • Complete annual inspection and re-verification testing and re-validation of Healthcare critical ventilation plant to HTM/HBN Guidance.
  • Complete Thorough Examination & Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems to relevant standards and codes of best practice.
  • Complete air system re-balancing, re-commissioning to relevant standards and codes of best practice.
  • Complete and issue comprehensive reports on findings.
  • DOP Filter Integrity Testing & DPC testing of HEPA-filter installations.
  • Inspect comfort air filter installations, advising on new solutions for reduction in energy & improved air quality.
  • The ideal candidate would have
  • Basic Knowledge of air filtration / HVAC (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Full driving licence (no more than 3 points) as a company van will be supplied.
  • Good IT Skills in Word / Excel and Microsoft office.
  • Flexibility in relation to working times and site locations in order to meet the fast paced demands of our customers and support our business in achieving reactive response times.
  • Training held in the following would be advantageous but not essential
  • IPAF License
  • CTCB-I (Cleanroom Testing and Certification Board)
  • Competent/Authorised Person Ventilation (CPv/APv)
  • Work at height
  • CSCS Skills card, CCNSG Health & Safety passport
  • P601- LEV Testing
