Based at our offices in Haslingden, Lancashire, we are seeking to appoint a Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for ensuring efficient movement and storage of goods and materials around the factory and premises.
Your role will involve:
- Movement of materials around warehouse using pump trucks / forklifts
- Manually and mechanically loading both company and sub-contractor vehicles in line with all relevant load safety procedures
- Picking daily stock orders for despatch
- Zoning goods in preparation for despatch
- Receiving deliveries and assisting with unloading as necessary
- Processing incoming goods including labelling, packaging and moving to stock location or despatch as required
- Preparing loads for despatch. Collection and movement of multiple items from various departments around the factory consolidating at designated loading bays ready for despatch.
- Picking, packing and generating packing lists for export
The successful applicant will have amongst other things:
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment
- Reach truck licence would be an advantage.
- D365 knowledge/or similar warehouse systems would be an advantage
- Full driving licence would be useful.
