Camfaud Group employs over 300 staff across various depots across the UK and due to our continued expansion, we are actively seeking trainee Concrete Pump Operators to join the team. \n The role \n We are looking to recruit people with an HGV license to drive and operate our state-of-the-art concrete pumping equipment. We will provide training in Concrete Pump Operations up to NVQ level 2 and also fund your CSCS card. If you enjoy a hands-on role where no two days are the same and you are looking for a well-paid career in the construction industry this could be the role for you. \n Once fully trained the role involves driving, positioning, and setting up our concrete pumps at building sites across the region. \n The training scheme covers both practical and theoretical training, you will be fully supported by our in-house trainers as well as onsite training by an experienced operative which will include: \n \n Driving concrete pumps to and from customer sites \n Safely setting up and positioning machine to hirers requirements - including laying and connecting out the necessary pipework to correct placing positions. \n Operating concrete pumps in line with relevant health safety and environment standards. \n Following safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work. \n Managing the health and safety impacts of working with high concrete pumping pressures. \n Completing pre-work machine checks, and priming machine for pumping duties. \n Safely returning vehicles/machines to operating depot \n Preparing plant for following days' work e.g., grease, oil, water, and fuel \n Stowing, parking, and securely locking vehicle. \n Building relationships and working effectively with contractors and customers under time critical conditions. \n \n HGV Driving License. \n Manual Handling. \n Mechanical Experience. \n Good at building relationships. \n ·A competitive salary of up to average earnings are between £27,000 and £40,000 depending on how many hours you work, once qualified you pay rate will increase in line with your allocated pump size. \n ·28 days annual leave including bank holidays. \n ·Life Insurance. \n ·Auto-enrolment into our pension scheme. \n ·Benenden Private Healthcare Scheme. \n ·Training and opportunities to grow. \
