About Us:
Camfaud Group is the largest concrete pump hire company in the UK. Camfaud Group employs over 300 staff across various depots in the UK and due to our continued expansion, we are actively seeking a Hiab Driver to join our team in Maidenhead.
Role:
We are now looking for a Hiab Driver to join our Premier Concrete Pumping depot to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operations by driving a Company HGV vehicle with a trailer and operation of vehicle crane. We are looking for a driver qualified to operate Class C + E vehicles and has obtained a driver CPC. Previous industry experience and knowledge of construction and waste management is preferred but not essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Driving a Company HGV vehicle and operation of vehicle crane.
- Completing the daily walkaround, driver records, delivery / collection notes and waste transfer notes.
- Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean.
- Safe (un)loading of vehicle, ensuring containers are securely transported.
- To act as an ambassador on behalf of the Company, ensuring that the clients / customers are treated courteously and respectfully.
- Consistently meeting driver performance criteria requirements.
- Use a mobile app in accordance with internal system requirements.
- Other duties as requested by the Depot Manager.
What We’re Looking For From the Successful Candidate:
- Candidates should hold a full driving licence – HGV Class C + E essential.
- Be smart in appearance (full PPE is provided) and have a pleasant manner.
- Have knowledge of vehicle operations.
- Have the ability to demonstrate understanding of EU & Domestic drivers hours regulations.
- Full Driver CPC Training and CPC card.
- Hold a digital tachograph driver card.
- ALLMI certified.
Licence/Certification:
Heavy Goods Vehicle Licence (required), Class C + E Driver / Mobile Crane Operator with Driver CPC and ALLMI certificate.
Working Hours:
You are required to work a minimum of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Salary Rates:
£19.00 per hour, Monday to Friday. Exceptional weekend support at a rate of £25.00 per hour.
