An established wealth management business is looking to hire an Operations Officer to join its Reconciliations team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with operations experience to step into a broad, hands-on role covering UK and international reconciliations.

You will be joining a collaborative team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cash, stock, and custody positions, while playing a key role in resolving breaks and improving processes.

  • Perform daily reconciliation of cash and stock accounts across UK and international entities.
  • Reconcile safe custody assets and external bank accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies efficiently.
  • Work closely with internal teams to reduce and clear outstanding items.
  • Ensure all reconciliations meet internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and reconcile stamp duty, including reclaim processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the reconciliations function.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Maintain and update operational procedure.

Minimum 2 years' experience in wealth management or banking operation.

Strong reconciliations experience (cash, stock, custody preferred).

Understanding of UK regulatory environment; Crown Dependencies exposure is advantageous.

Experience with Avaloq or similar systems is beneficial.
