Job Overview
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Store Person based at a growing engineering firm in Rochdale.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries – ensuring correct paperwork submitted, goods of good quality, and the system updated to acknowledge receipt.
- Picking and packing customer goods for dispatch, ensuring shipments ready on time with correct paperwork.
- Organising stock within the facility, including stock control.
- Ensuring stock is stored in a manner that allows quick access to frequently used items.
- Using a forklift (appropriate training provided).
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the stores, ensuring the environment remains clear of waste and reporting any issues that prevent waste removal.
- Reporting and immediately dealing with any spillages, hazardous or dangerous practices.
- Working with the store team to identify and resolve issues related to deliveries or shipments.
- Ensuring all duties are undertaken safely and in a controlled manner.
Qualifications & Skills
- PC literate.

Benefits
