Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including pastries, Petit Gateaux, chocolates and cakes
- Follow recipes and maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring a clean, organised workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain efficient workflows
- Contribute creative ideas for new products and seasonal offerings
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and design pastry menus
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all pastries by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
Qualifications
- Experience as a pastry chef or Head pastry chef
- Proficient with making pastries and petit gateaux, competent with chocolate work, and able to manage a team
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and a passion for the craft
