As a CNC Miller (5-Axis Setter/Operator), you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machinery to produce high-quality precision components.
You will work predominantly independently on machines, while collaborating with the wider team when required.
- Setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Preparing machines and completing setups to meet production requirements
- Producing precision-engineered components to required specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Checking finished components to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
- Working independently on machines with minimal supervision
- Collaborating with the wider engineering team when required
CNC milling setting and operating experience - Experience working within precision engineering environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Punctual, disciplined, and reliable approach to work
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain or meet the requirements for BPSS clearance, Experience working with 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Experience using Mazak systems
- Experience within aerospace machining
