They deliver a range of construction projects and pride themselves on high standards, strong communication, and a proactive site culture. The main purpose of the role is to oversee site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements. This role would suit someone with strong site-based experience who is confident leading teams, communicating across all levels, and managing multiple priorities on live construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support site teams on a daily basis
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and site activities
- Requisition materials through the company buyer in an organised and timely manner
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly and effectively
- Maintain strong Health & Safety compliance at all times
- Communicate client variations to the office and ensure they are confirmed in writing
- Produce accurate progress updates and reports
- Promote a positive, proactive and professional site culture
- Liaise with site teams, office staff, management, and directors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Project Manager or similar site management role
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (essential)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
- Experience coordinating labour, subcontractors, and site operations
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Proactive and hands‑on approach to site management
