We're partnering with a growing and well-regarded wealth management firm in Cambridge to hire an Associate Wealth Planner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in financial planning, with a clear pathway to becoming a qualified Financial Planner.

You'll work closely with experienced advisors, gaining hands-on exposure to client relationships, paraplanning, and the full advice process., This is a development-focused position combining client support and paraplanning responsibilities.

You'll play a key role in delivering strong client outcomes while building the technical knowledge and commercial awareness required to progress into an advisory role.,

  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, handling queries and supporting ongoing relationships.
  • Coordinate client meetings, prepare valuation packs, and manage the diary.
  • Process new business, including onboarding, AML/CDD checks, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate client records using back-office systems (e. g. XPlan).
  • Support post-meeting follow-ups and client communication.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and general administrative tasks.
  • Paraplanning duties will include
  • Conducting research to support financial planning recommendations.
  • Preparing suitability reports aligned to client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting cash-flow modelling and financial calculations.
  • Drafting technical and client-facing documentation. Degree educated (minimum 2:1 preferred).
  • Strong interest in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Working towards or committed to completing the Level 4 Diploma (CII).
  • Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Motivated, proactive, and keen to develop into an advisory role.
