A neurodiversity charity based in Surrey is seeking a Charity Manager / Head of Operations. The role can be part-time or full-time (3-5 days a week) with a salary of Β£40-50k per annum, potentially higher for the right candidate.

The charity aims to enhance the quality of life for neurodivergent adults through person-centred support and by celebrating difference. Their model focuses on personal wellbeing mapping, leading to tailored support plans, an inclusive online community, and pathways to work and social opportunities.

The role involves:

  • Running operations and continuously improving the person-centred support model
  • Identifying and onboarding specialist providers and resources
  • Recruiting and collaborating with a Care & Support Manager to design flexible care pathways
  • Ensuring support plans are fully funded and delivered within budget, with clear monitoring and reporting on service quality
  • Driving fundraising and income generation (ESG, corporate partners, grants)
  • Building third-sector partnerships and promoting the charity to volunteers
  • Overseeing communications and social media, alongside financial oversight of service delivery

Essential qualifications include experience supporting neurodivergent individuals. A charity/third-sector background is preferred, along with strong operational, fundraising, and partnership skills. The ideal candidate should be organised, proactive, and comfortable in a start-up environment. Tech-savviness, including social media and basic finance skills, is a plus. The position is based in Woking with hybrid working and flexible hours.

There is real scope to shape the role and the charity as it grows.
