About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and product experience. You’ll be deeply involved in the product lifecycle—from shaping user journeys and improving interaction design to participating in strategic pitches and driving sales enablement with design thinking.
This role offers a chance to combine vision-setting with hands-on design direction, influencing both internal product development and external digital delivery. You’ll also play a key role in expanding and evolving the company’s design services, collaborating closely with the owner, CPO, and key stakeholders across tech, marketing, and project delivery.
What’s on Offer
- Circa £50k, potentially up to £60k for the perfect candidate.
- Equity participation (share options after qualifying period).
- Generous pension, life cover, and a true meritocracy.
- Hybrid working (min. 3 days onsite per week).
- A supportive, entrepreneurial environment working directly with the founder.
- Lead major UX/UI design projects for NHS, government, and social housing clients.
- Real career progression as the business grows.
About You
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes creative problem solving through design. You’ll have a strong grasp of Information Architecture and its role in UX, and a decent footing in front-end technologies (like LESS, CSS, and HTML), with the confidence to speak with clients and stakeholders alike. Agency experience or a client-facing freelance background would be helpful. Most importantly, you’ll be commercially aware, customer-focused, and ready to drive digital innovation in a fast-paced, purpose-driven business.
