Our client is an established, employee-owned specialist sub contractor in the security and fire solutions space. They design, install, commission systems for multi-site commercial customers, with particular strength in large residential blocks and student accommodation. They have a newly created role available - supporting the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of operations, compliance, fleet administration and employee training records. You'd be central to keeping documentation accurate, current and audit-ready, with genuine progression opportunity within a growing service operation. What you'd be doing: * Day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Service Manager * Maintaining compliance records, certificates, inspections and audit documentation * Monitoring expiry dates and escalating urgent requirements or delays * Supporting audit preparation and compliance reviews * Managing fleet administration — servicing, MOTs, insurance, inspections and vehicle documentation * Liaising with drivers, garages, insurers and suppliers * Maintaining employee training, certification and competency records * Identifying upcoming training needs and helping arrange refresher courses * Producing reports and following tasks through to completion What they're looking for: * Experience in administration, coordination or customer service * Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail * Confident written and verbal communication, including a professional telephone manner * Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel * Proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and work independently * Calm, methodical approach under pressure On offer: * £28,000, reviewed to £30,000 after six months' successful probation * Company-wide bonus - because as an employee-owned business, the success is shared * Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–3:00pm * 21 days' holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 23 after three years' service * Identified progression opportunity if performing well
