Cameron’s Volkswagen is a highly successful family owned and run motor retailer based in Perth, Scotland with a long history of award-winning customer service. We have been operating for 70 years and are trusted as one of the most established in the network for Sales, Service and Bodyshop customer needs. With us now settled into our brand new state-of-the-art Volkswagen site which opened at the start of May 2026, we are looking to expand our current professional team with a MOT tester/Technician.

The role will consist of carrying out servicing, repairs and warranty work to a high standard and also MOTs for both our customer vehicles and sales vehicles. The Role

  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, warranty work and MOTs on our customer and sales cars
  • Qualified MOT Tester is essential
  • Ensure all paperwork is correct to a high standard during and after maintaining the vehicle
  • Carrying out work in an efficient manner at all times
  • Adhering to all DVSA standards as required
  • Assisting with minor repairs and fitting when required
  • Full driving licence

Skill and Experience

  • Fully qualified MOT tester is essential
  • Fully qualified technician
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to self-manage times on jobs
  • Understanding of DVSA MOT operational requirements
  • Previous dealership experience is advantageous but not essential

The most important part:

  • Up to 7 weeks Holiday per year
  • Up to £44,200.00 OTE - DOE
  • Bonus available monthly
  • Relevant Volkswagen training with blended learning on-site and at Volkswagen's superb National Learning Centre facility in Milton Keynes
