Cameron Landscapes Ltd has a well-established garden centre dedicated to providing a wide range of high-quality plants, garden products, furniture, and exceptional customer service. We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Garden Centre Plants Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance their existing plant knowledge and develop management skills in a thriving retail environment.
As the Garden Centre Plants Manager you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the garden centre. You will be responsible for managing plant budgets, overseeing staff, enhancing customer service, and helping the garden centre run smoothly.
Qualifications and Skills:- Experience working in a garden centre environment is essential.
- Good plant knowledge with experience in plant care, fertilizers/pest control and general garden products is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing budgets and making data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Experience with promotional activities and sales strategies.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Forklift certification or willingness to undergo training when required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Salary is negotiable dependant on applicant's experience.
