We are partnering with a highly reputable international Tier 2 bank with a strong credit rating and growing presence in London to appoint an experienced Relationship Manager within its Private Banking and Wealth Management division. This is a key hire within a well-established bank, offering the opportunity to manage and develop relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The role sits within a collaborative and well-resourced team, providing a strong platform to further build a client portfolio while delivering a full suite of private banking and wealth management solutions.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Private Banking, key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW/UHNW and VIP clients, delivering tailored wealth management and banking solutions and increase the Bank’s portfolio of deposits and loans.
  • Market the Bank’s Private Banking services and products to existing and potential customers in accordance with the marketing strategies and plans agreed upon with the Head of Department.
  • Explore new commercial and residential investment opportunities in the UK real estate market introduced to the bank, to be offered to customers.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive credit applications for residential or commercial property purchases for approval at the appropriate sanctioning level.
  • Supervise the post-sanction facility implementation process, including obtaining relevant documentation, conducting due diligence, managing account opening, and overseeing facility drawdown procedures.
  • Follow up with approved solicitors and surveyors on matters related to customer transactions requested through the Bank.
  • Periodically, or as deemed necessary, communicate all pertinent information to customers regarding the status of their funds, market conditions, trends, and opportunities, while ensuring that customer requests for information, advice, and action are promptly met.
  • Drive revenue generation through proactive relationship management and business development.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within private banking.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English.
