They are expanding part of their operations within the United Arab Emirates and are seeking an exceptional Proprietary Trader to join their team and help establish further their physical metals trading business. You will initially be based in London or Switzerland and then move to the UAE The Role As a Senior Proprietary Trader, you will: Develop and execute profitable trading strategies in metals markets including iron ore, gold, copper, platinum etc Identify and capitalise on trading opportunities Develop trading models and algorithms to enhance profitability Supporting the setup as it grows of their metals and derivatives prop trading desk Help implement further robust risk management frameworks Manage risk exposure and ensure regulatory compliance Conduct in-depth market analysis and research and collaborate with research team on market analysis Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes Collaborate with other functions including finance, legal, systems and treasury areas Ideal Candidate 5+ years of successful proprietary trading experience in the metals markets Strong understanding of physical commodity trading, including spot, futures, and options Proficiency in trading platforms and advanced analytical skills In-depth knowledge of global metals markets and regulatory frameworks Proven ability in risk management and position control Strong leadership and communication skills Key Responsibilities What They Offer Competitive tax-free base salary Profit share and Performance-based bonus structure Opportunity to build and lead a trading desk in a dynamic market Professional growth in a global commodity trading environment Join this company and be at the forefront of metals trading in Dubai, one of the world’s most exciting financial hubs.
