This role is based ideally in Dubai (but could be based internationally). An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing and ambitious oil trading and broking firm looking to hire a talented and motivated Physical Oil Broker to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious physical oil broker who wants to work closely with senior industry professionals in a fast-moving, international environment.

You will be a commercially minded professional with a solid 4–10 years’ experience who knows how to build strong relationships, spot commercial opportunities, and close deals in a fast-moving international market and a proven track record in physical oil broking. While Dubai is the preferred location, strong candidates based internationally will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong client and counterparty relationships.
  • Source and match physical oil and refined product opportunities.
  • Negotiate cargoes and commercial terms effectively.
  • Use strong market knowledge and commercial judgement to identify suitable trade opportunities.
  • Assess counterparty quality and support successful deal execution.
  • Work collaboratively with senior professionals across the trading and broking team.
