Leading London based Asset Manager who are leaders in their market are looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager with strong Institutional Marketing experience. The purpose of the role is to deliver and lead on marketing in the UK Institutional channel, as well as to provide support to the UK Wholesale / Retail channel within the wider European Team. To work in close collaboration with other European teams on institutional and wholesale topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy planning and delivery (10%): Devise and deliver a digital marketing strategy for UK Institutional across multiple channels (advertising, emails, events, social media, content, web) and maintain the marketing plan. Work with marketing teams across Europe to implement and adapt pan-EMEA marketing campaigns locally when relevant. Leverage global themed campaigns, localising for maximum effectiveness for the UK market. Take responsibility for managing the content and contact strategy for client segments and delivering on client needs, ensuring appropriate reflection on the brand values, and consistency of messaging. Work with pan-EMEA media agency to deliver advertising and content and social media promotion campaigns relevant to the UK market. Assist in ad-hoc document updates for specific funds including brochures, performance updates and promotional flyers.
  • Digital marketing (10%): Maintain and update the UK websites as required. Liaise with Digital Marketing to agree enhancements and analytics needs, driving better campaign results. Work to best manage and optimise how UK marketing uses the current Salesforce CRM system and integrate it further into marketing and sales processes.
  • Events (35%): Plan and deliver an events strategy (including proprietary and sponsored events) in line with the overall marketing strategy. Ensure seamless delivery including presentations and supporting literature. Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers as required.
  • Relationship management (10%): On a weekly basis report to the Head of European Marketing on the performance of all channels and work to KPI’s to optimise and improve performance. Work in partnership with Business Development teams to ensure they are fully served in terms of their product marketing requirements. Maintain and develop strong relationships with the portfolio managers, product specialists, communications, compliance and other business functions as appropriate. Ensuring the compliance of all marketing collateral and website with UK and EU regulations. Become valued and contributing member of both the Northern Europe and Pan-EMEA marketing teams.
  • Budget management (5%): Management of UK Institutional marketing budget.

Additional Skills:

  • Solid experience in asset management marketing
  • Experience and understanding of UK institutional and wholesale space
  • Track record of delivering high level marketing campaigns that hit KPIs and drive AUM and revenue growth
  • In depth understanding of key products and asset classes within a leading global asset management business
  • Experience of editing high quality content
  • Experience of managing websites and digital collateral
  • Experience in marketing planning and strategy
  • The ability to responsibly manage high value agency relationships
  • Experience running budgets
  • The skills commensurate with a degree or equivalent preferably in a marketing related discipline
  • Energetic, ideas-driven and can-do attitude to deliver in a timely manner
