We’re looking for a Financial Controller to work closely with the CFO in leading financial operations and reporting while supporting the wider investment platform.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on position ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong fund accounting experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across a multi-jurisdictional business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting – Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
- Fund & SPV Operations – Manage capital calls, investment processing, and fund structures.
- Multi-Jurisdictional Oversight – Operate across different legal and financial frameworks.
- System Development – Support the design and maintenance of finance and deal systems.
- Compliance & Risk – Coordinate KYC/AML processes and liaise with auditors and regulators.
- Cost & Treasury Management – Monitor company spending and cash flow to support growth.
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- 2–3+ years’ experience in private equity, venture capital, or alternative assets.
- Proven fund accounting experience.
- Strong technical skills – confident with Xero (or similar) and advanced Excel.
- Comfortable reviewing legal and investment documentation.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
