About the Role
- Financial Reporting & Control
- Deliver statutory accounts across all entities in line with UK GAAP and internal policies
- Lead the external audit process end-to-end
- Review monthly P&Ls and balance sheets, providing oversight and challenge
- Produce board and committee reporting, including financial updates and dividends
- Maintain a robust financial control framework
- Own FCA regulatory reporting for client and associated entities
- Support and lead key elements of ICARA, including stress testing and scenario modelling
- Act as Finance SME on capital and liquidity
- Produce MI and manage forecasting against risk appetite
- Lead and develop a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
- Build a high-performing team with clear objectives
- Act as a visible and approachable Finance leader
- Support strategic initiatives, including M&A and business growth
- Drive process improvement and automation
- Oversee risk and control processes, including RCSA
- Promote a strong risk culture aligned with the Group framework
