We have an urgent temporary opportunity for a skilled analyst to join a leading ESG Strategy Team for a 6-month assignment. Key Responsibilities:- Support the ESG Team in enhancing climate reporting capabilities and work closely with climate research leads.
- Assist with ESG data and analytics tools, helping teams understand and utilize ESG data effectively.
- Develop and conceptualize data visualization tools for ESG and climate metrics using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar packages.
- Enhance data visualizations to support business decision-making and leverage cross-business ESG capabilities.
- Innovate data tools to collate insights on climate and other ESG risks and opportunities (e.g., spatial data, asset-level data).
- Contribute to the development of strategic planning tools, visualizing internal assets under management across ESG strategies, geographies, and asset classes.
- Conceptualize tools to track asset flows and integrate external ESG market flows and AUM data.
- Benchmark against market trends and summarize emerging opportunities and risks using sources like Morningstar.
- Work closely with the ESG Strategy Team, supporting data and technology working groups, tracking market and regulatory developments, and responding to internal data queries.
- Assist with discrete projects such as creating data for ESG communications, webpages, Q&A, and presentations.
- Support the development of affiliate-level ESG KPIs as needed.
- Strong interest in ESG and climate topics, with a focus on practical tools and solutions.
- Creative approach to visualizing large, unstructured data sets.
- Advanced data manipulation and Excel skills; experience with large datasets.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Matplotlib, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
