We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, privately owned wealth management firm based in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an investment professional looking to build a career at the heart of portfolio operations.
The Role
You'll sit within a specialist investment team, taking direct responsibility for the execution and implementation of model portfolios across a range of centralised investment propositions — including MPS, PPS, FOF, MAF and ESG strategies. Working closely with Investment Managers, you'll ensure portfolios are rebalanced efficiently, accurately and in line with each client's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute trades across model portfolios on platforms including AJ Bell and Avaloq
- Rebalance portfolios in response to market movements, cashflows and mandate changes
- Monitor portfolio drift and flag discrepancies to the investment team
- Support the development and maintenance of portfolio analytics and performance reporting using Excel and VBA
- Assist with new client onboarding and account set-up
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the investment operations function
What We're Looking For
- CISI Level 3 (essential)
- Experience in a portfolio management, investment operations or DFM support role
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; VBA an advantage
- Familiarity with Avaloq or AJ Bell platforms desirable
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Degree educated or equivalent professional qualification
