Do you want to join a market-leading estate agency with high-quality leads, incredible earning potential, and a supportive team culture?

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is proud to be working with one of Kent’s most respected estate agency brands, who are now looking for a Senior Mortgage Advisor to join their high-performing team based in Thanet.

Role Overview:

This is not your average Mortgage Advisor role. Based within a dynamic, busy branch that generates 7–10 new first appointments per week, you’ll be advising on mortgages and protection products, with property values regularly reaching £750k. You'll also have access to a strong remortgage pipeline and an active client database.

You’ll be working side-by-side with an experienced sales team, offering professional mortgage and protection advice to clients looking to buy, move, or remortgage. You’ll manage daily new enquiries, build strong relationships with introducers, and deliver tailored, compliant financial solutions to a wide range of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide whole-of-market mortgage advice across purchase, remortgage, and buy-to-let cases.
  • Advise on life insurance, critical illness, and income protection products.
  • Work with the in-branch sales team to convert leads into mortgage applications.
  • Proactively follow up with clients and manage your own pipeline effectively.
  • Maintain full compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver exceptional service that drives referrals and repeat business.

What’s in it for you?

  • Basic salary up to £28,000 depending on experience.
  • Car allowance or company car.
  • High earnings potential: Realistic OTE of £45,000 Year 1, rising to £65,000+ Year 2.
  • Uncapped commission structure with excellent rewards for top performers.
  • Consistent, high-quality leads – 7–10 new appointments per week.
  • Access to an established client base for remortgage opportunities.
  • Work in a beautiful coastal location with an award-winning brand.
  • Supportive team culture and access to full training and development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) – minimum Level 1 essential.
  • Proven track record as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker in a target-driven role.
  • Excellent knowledge of mortgage and protection products.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and passionate about providing 5-star client service.
  • Keen to develop professionally and thrive in a busy estate agency environment.
  • Desire to work in a close-knit, seaside community with great quality of life.

This Role Is Ideal For:

  • Experienced Mortgage Advisors looking to relocate to Thanet or already based in Kent.
  • Mortgage Brokers looking to join a supportive firm offering genuine high earnings.
  • Professionals who want to escape the city and grow their career by the coast.
