We are looking for a senior accountant to join our client's team in a permanent, office-based role in Cross Hills, BD20 7AA. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts preparation, ranging from sole traders to Partnerships and Limited Companies, with the opportunity for future progression/manager level for the right candidate.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Accounts preparation from both incomplete records and computerised records
- Company and personal tax return preparation
- Managing own portfolio (manager role)
- Reviewing work of other employees
- Liaising with clients on all accounting matters
- Other ad-hoc projects as they arise
Skills required:
- ACA or ACCA qualified. Will consider QBE but must have minimum of 3 years UK-based accountancy practice experience.
- Management accounts experience desirable
- Excellent working knowledge of accounts preparation for a range of businesses including Sole Traders, Ltd Companies and Partnerships, including LLPs
- Ability to prepare accounts to a high standard
- Ability to use own initiative, to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
