The Role
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor, you will work closely with established estate agency teams, supporting customers throughout their mortgage journey and developing the knowledge and skills required to provide professional mortgage and protection advice.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building strong relationships with customers, estate agency colleagues and introducers.
- Learning how to assess customer needs and identify suitable mortgage and protection solutions.
- Supporting mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Working with experienced advisers, lenders and administration teams.
- Converting warm leads and identifying opportunities from existing customers and referrals.
- Delivering excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process.
- Developing your knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria and FCA compliance requirements.
- Working towards professional qualifications and full Mortgage Advisor competency.
- Achieving individual and team performance targets.
- Candidate Requirements
- Ce MAP qualification or currently studying towards Ce MAP preferred.
- Previous experience in estate agency, banking, financial services, sales or customer service would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
